We all act consistently on who we believe we are.
I’m at a point in my life where all my dreams are starting to come true. Now I’m starting to think that maybe I shouldn’t want so much. I know I need to set goals; but not too big. Then I think about how introverted I am which makes me think….
“I dislike people.”
I need to break out of this kind of thinking.
I can start by doing things a little out of the ordinary to break out of my consistency loop.
But then I think about using consistency to my advantage.
People expect me to be a certain kind of person, and I’ll work that to my advantage. It may feel like I limit myself or get locked up in this character of mine. But it’s not a bad thing.
Working with people who have bigger goals has helped me change my point of view on what is possible; like thinking bigger.
Author Grant Cardone said we should think ten times bigger.
My goal multiplied ten times is two million dollars a year of net income. How am I going to do that? If you break it down, to get two million dollars of net income means I need to make four million dollars a year.
If I make four million dollars a year, then I’m probably generating eight million dollars.
Wow. That’s a lot of money.
